13 might just be my lucky number. To try and make my life more exciting and challenging, I have decided to follow a few "weekly challenges" posted on 13 different blogs and websites, covering things from my marriage to my budget, with lots of creative challenges in between.

The biggest challenge will obviously be to follow through and not give up, but it is worth a try anyway.

The first challenge is one of my favorites, and I have been wanting to join http://www.sewweekly.com/ weekly challenges for a while now, but fear of failure as well as being fat and ugly served as good excuses not to take the leap. You see, a big part of the challenge is to post a photo of yourself in your creation ont their website, so you expose yourself warts and all for everyone to see.

But having a look at all the wonderful and beautiful women that participate, I have decided to take the leap and honor my body and my spirit in this fun weekly activity.
